About the curtain raiserhttp://raisingthecurtain.netI have spent my life in offices. For now I am putting that behind me and preparing for the second act. Middle age didn't come with acceptable signposts so I am making my own through my writing. A journey shared is more fun than going it solo.

Creating spam poems 🙂 That’s what I am actually doing right now instead of some research I … uhm… ought to do.
I would except it was Tuesday and there was the whole w word thing to deal with. Howver, I did cram some nothing moments into the day (after the w word was over, of course) 🙂
Doing nothing might involve a bottle of beer or a glass of wine coupled with quiet contemplation of the changeable seacoast sky. Today, doing nothing will involve prayers and blessings for peace for those in need.
Quiet contemplation is a critical part of doing nothing. Thoughts go out to everyone in Boston. One of my favorite cities and I don’t like seeing it and its people violated.
Giving yourself a day off is so important. I did just this the other day. Long lie-in, unhurried food shop, then an evening on the sofa with a movie. Perfect! angelinetrevena.blogspot.co.uk
Being busy is ok, as long as its not busy for busy sake. Being busy to avoid dealing is not good. Doing nothing makes you appreciate constructive busy even more. Thanks for the comment, Enid.

Doesn’t creating spam poetry make the research go more smoothly? 🙂
Doing nothing for me is shutting down the computer and reading a book or watching some mindless television. With some chocolate, of course.
Chocolate and mindless TV? Sounds like a winning recipe for doing nothing success.
Oh, I hope you take full advantage of that permission!

yeah … if only
yeah… pity the N post didn’t fall on a Sunday 😛
Sounds like fun…. enjoy! 🙂
Thanks, pity it was Tuesday 🙂
Oh I am up for any day of the week to do nothing! 🙂
Now that’s a plan!
Yep, and as we know it’s all in the planning 🙂
Nice permission. It’s good for the grey matter too. Airs it out or something.
I like nothing better than reading a book.
Absolutely agree. Some of my decisions were made looking at the clouds move across the sky.
I guess I would say nap or sleep, but that’s doing something. I’m always doing something even if it doesn’t amount to much.

Ha, ha Lee. I guess we are always breathing. Napping is right up there though in the nothing stakes.
Watching a baseball game.
Always a staple.
‘Nothing’ sounds so good about now halfway through the A to Z challenge. Not til May.

You’re right, I’m thinking about the 12 posts to go and I think it’s time for a little nothing right now!
having a glass of wine..ok already doing that… um err what else is there…that’s right ‘nothing’ 🙂
Nothing beats nothing 🙂
I love days when I don’t even have to get out of bed except to get food from the kitchen.
Hi delightfully ludicrous Kellie. Thanks for the comment. One must certainly keep up their energy for doing nothing!
The cheekiest post so far! ;-P
Thank you kind sir. We aim to please 🙂

Ironic that you did so much to accomplish nothing huh? 🙂
